Tomorrow at 230pm, vacation ends and work starts, which isn’t that bad after all. I have been spending money for a month now, and I am starting to run a bit short. Anyways, I believe it will be great to start working again, and I don’t know if I will have any more breaks before school starts in 2 months, probably I will, because there is not much work for me in september.
Today I am making home made pizza, and inviting a couple of friends. Take care, happy weekend, what is left.
So today I head back home to Norway. It has been a wonderful week with lots memories I’ll never forget. Things like Tyler’s back patio, Cabernet (at the end abbreviated to “cab”), Outlets, beautiful weather, cardio convertion at hospital, friends, family (and Kristan), and last but not least – a fabulous friday night – John Legend!
Actually, it’s hard to call this a summer vacation, though it is. This has been my home before, and I still look at as my second home. The fact that my dad is living here (now moving back after five years living here) has made Waynesboro more than just a place I come to, to visit friends; it’s more than that. And I’m really glad I got the opportunity to return here, and spend time with people I care about.
Anyhows, today is the day I go back, and it’s going to be great. I haven’t actually got to relax in Norway this summer; My g/f and I went to L.A. just a couple of days after returning to Norway from Poland (after school finished), so I guess it will be nice to get a few days of “chillin’” back home before starting work at the 27th of July (monday). Departure time is set to 5:27 (yeah, as if they’re gonna be able to leave at that exact time), which means I will be landing in Oslo Gardemoen at 10:30 norwegian time. I will see you all (the two of you reading this…) tomorrow =)
Last night was great, Tyler Carly and I spent the entire day together, which started with lunch at about 1pm. Before supper we visited High Rock and took a bath at the next door swimming pool. Then we all started making food together, including Tyler’s parents. Later when we were eating, we even saw as many as four-five deer in the back yard, isn’t that great =)
The night finished in the early morning ours after a couple of Carly’s great drinks, thank you for a great evening. I guess it’s only a couple more hours till lunch time yet again, see you later.
Ahh, finally at “home”. Well, I might be stretching if far by talking about Waynesboro as my home, but it WAS indeed my home a few years back, and I will always think of this town as a part of myself.
In a few minutes, Tyler and Carly will come pick me up and we’ll probably head for the “Velvet Cafe” which is right around the corner from here. We have decided on eating lunch together, which means breakfast as far as I’m concerned. I don’t really have any other plans for today, so I will do what I do best; play it by ear. I don’t know what Tyler and Carly are up to later on today, but if they are pretty much free, I will definitely go with them.
I woke up today at 1030am, which is pretty good considering I just came from Norway, which is 6 hours ahead of us (yes, us as in US as in USofA). This is probably due to the fact that I just came from America a couple days ago, and I am therefore already “converted” to an american time zone.
Well I think thats it for today, as I wrote yesterday (in norwegian tho), I will try a new approach to make myself post more often, and this new bright idea is based on writing smaller post, so I won’t look at blogging as a duty or a hazel, but more of a nice thing which doesn’t take time at all :p I’m not saying that blogging is a bad thing, ITS NOT!! It’s just that I don’t always have the energy for making big posts. But anyways, that’s it for today. Write to you later.
This saturday I am only gonna publish some fun videos for you to watch. The first on is about the evolution of the cell phone. It takes you through the history from the first cell phone was made, till the very last ones. Fun to watch.

The second clip is in Nowegian, and hilarious. Its an old clip I found on YouTube, and you definitely should check this one out, if you know Norwegian that is.
Yet again comes a post about Twitter. I have previously written about twitter and what it is here, so I presume you all have a basic idea of what it is. If not, I’ve attached a video at the very bottom which takes you through the principles in an easy matter.
So why am I talking so much about Twitter, will I never shut up?
Well, the answer to that is no – not until yousign up and start using Twitter. I truly believe that you will sign up sooner or later, just like you did when Facebook “came” to Norway. Americans used Facebook long before we norwegians did, and the few people using it in Norway tried hardly Read more…
Hello there. A couple days ago, a neat internet page caught my attention, and that doesn’t happen very often. I first became curious after looking through some pictures at a friends FaceBook profile. I thought the editing of some of the pictures were really neat, and thought to myself that “this person must know h*s way around the photoshop endless options”. Well, it didn’t take too long until I came to realize that this person wasn’t necessarily great in photoshop, but rather knew how to take advantage of one of the utilities the internet give us. Today I want to show you one of these sites. It is called PhotoFunia and in few words it lets let you upload an image of yourself (preferably one in which your face is easily recognizable) which is then edited – or better, blended – onto a background of your choice. You just pick the background you want your face to appear on and hit “OK”, and you are presented with a nicely edited image for you to download and what not. You should definitely check this site out. Visit PhotoFunia at www.photofunia.com. And yes, the image in this post (Vogue) is made thanks to this site.
I found this by doing some random surfing. This looks great! This is a pen wich 2GB of memory, and a infra red sensor in the tip. This infrared beam knows where on the paper you are, and sees what you write. After you’re done writing, you can of course (and this is where the brilliancy comes into place) transfer it onto you pc (hopefully macs too) for editing or to save it as a document. I definately want this, hopefully it is cheaper in the states or somewhere else where I can buy it off the internet. If you understand norwegian, check out the link! If you don’t understand norwegian, google “Pulse Smartpen”.
A game Magnus showed me tonight. I haven’t tried it yet, but if it’s really cool, I’ll come back to it. Try it out if you want =) It is both for the beautiful mac, and PC.
Ok, here it is. I have forgotten about this blog once again. BUT I DO want to contiune posting! I feel this is the time to start posting again, but before I throw in lots of new energy to this, I kinda wanna know how many of you who actually are reading my posts. So, if you don’t mind, please check out the poll in the right upper margin, and place your vote today! It’s free! Read more…
Yes, those creapy bastards. They are coming from under the floor, through the cracks. Fortunately, they are only coming like once a week or so. They came more frequently a couple months ago. I’m glad I’m not gonna stay here for long =) Actually I haven’t seen them in a couple of days now, Read more…
